Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to work on development and maintenance of customized software solutions for a large European customer in the public sector. The project focuses on a tax administration system with full lifecycle coverage, involving integration with multiple external systems.

The role requires 6+ years of Java experience, strong Spring and Quarkus skills, microservices and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and proficiency with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and REST/SOAP

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with PostgreSQL (or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka/ActiveMQ).
• Good testing principles and confidence communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Assist in estimating project efforts and timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to ensure predictability of project efforts.
• Contribute technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in incident triage and priority setting.
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
