Job summary
Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a global IT services and consulting team delivering customized software solutions for a major European client in tax administration. You will work on backend Java components using Spring and Quarkus, with microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and data integrations across PostgreSQL and RESTEasy.
The role involves collaboration with distributed teams and CI/CD optimization.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
- Good understanding of testing principles and English communication.
Responsibilities
- Implement software components according to the design specifications.
- Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Perform unit testing of software components.
- Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress and roadmaps.
- Provide technical input into product roadmaps and triage activities.
- Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
