Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and support Java microservices in a large-scale enterprise transformation. You will work with architects, QA, SRE, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a regulated environment.

You will contribute to CI/CD, testing, and non-functional requirements while applying GenAI development practices. The role emphasizes collaboration, security, and governance across delivery teams in Kraków.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on Python development in enterprise-scale environments.
• Good practical knowledge of Java and experience with Java microservices based on Spring Boot.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases, schema design and optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (Jenkins or GitLab).
• Understanding of REST APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and AI governance concepts is a plus.
• Leadership experience and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, release, and support Java microservices and related components.
• Contribute to solution design and integration patterns aligned with target architecture and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and help resolve technical risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
• Follow and contribute to engineering standards, CI/CD practices, and quality controls.
• Deliver robust unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and security reviews.
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools while maintaining security, quality, and governance standards.
• Apply GenAI development practices including LLM usage, RAG concepts, and agent-based workflows.
• Build production-ready services with strong observability and operational readiness.
• Support release activities, integrations, and environment readiness.

In this role, you will design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise-grade Java microservices while contributing to an AI-enabled software development lifecycle. You will work closely with architects, Tech Leads, QA, SRE, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions in a complex, highly regulated environment.
