Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer to participate in development and maintenance of customized software solutions for a large European client in the public sector. You will work on a tax administration system built with Java, Spring, Quarkus, Angular frontend, and data stack including PostgreSQL, Kafka, RESTEasy, Hibernate/Panache.

Expect CI/CD, microservices, and collaboration with distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices and container-based architectures.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka).
• Good English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications (Java).
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Conduct unit testing of software components.
• Estimate project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders across distributed teams.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities and CI/CD optimization.
