Job summary

Miratech seeks a Senior Java Developer to join a European project delivering tax administration software and related services. You will contribute to development and maintenance of a secure, scalable platform for public sector clients, collaborating with a 20+ person project team.

The role emphasizes Java backend with Spring/Quarkus, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, REST/SOAP integrations, and CI/CD. Strong English skills and teamwork are essential for success in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to design specifications.
• Perform system integration, testing, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders for predictable progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage (incident analysis) and prioritization.
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
