Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Java Developer to contribute to development and maintenance of customized software for a European tax administration project. You will work with a global team to deliver secure, scalable solutions and participate in full software lifecycles from design to deployment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Quarkus, microservices, and modern DevOps practices. Strong English communication and collaboration with distributed teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
