Job summary

Pretius Software is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a global-scale gaming and lotteries platform. You will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software, architect complex solutions, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews.

You’ll provide technical guidance and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver projects on time. Key tech includes Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST; PostgreSQL; Docker and Kubernetes; Git; Kafka and CQRS; strong OO and concurrency knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• OO and concurrent programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Git.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of event streaming, Kafka, and CQRS.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Experience with design patterns, code quality practices, and unit testing is a plus.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and RESTful services
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with software debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Concurrent Programming concepts
• Hands‑on experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes development environments
• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, and Apache Kafka
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field
• Experience with design patterns, code quality practices, and unit testing will be considered an advantage
