Job summary

Miratech is hiring a Senior Java Developer in Kraków to contribute to development and maintenance of large-scale software solutions for public sector clients in Europe. You will work on tax administration system components, microservices, and data integration, collaborating with a distributed team to deliver secure, scalable platforms.

You'll use Spring and Quarkus on the backend, Angular on the frontend, and modern DevOps practices with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, problem troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates and communicate with the Project Stakeholders to ensure that the Project efforts proceed efficiently and with predictability.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis and prioritization).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
