Job summary

Miratech Group is hiring a Senior Java Developer in Poland to join a European tax administration project. You will develop, integrate and maintain large-scale software using Spring and Quarkus in a distributed, containerized environment.

You will collaborate with a 20+ person team, contribute to CI/CD, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews. English fluency and strong stakeholder communication are required; Angular or German skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).
• Good understanding of testing principles.
• Ability to communicate confidently in English.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders and distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement software components according to the design specifications.
• Perform system integration and testing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Perform unit testing of software components.
• Participate in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate with stakeholders to ensure efficient progress.
• Provide technical input into product roadmaps.
• Participate in triage activities (incident analysis).
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes.
