Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a skilled Java backend engineer to join a growing client team. You will design and evolve backend services with Java and Spring Boot, build integrations with Dynamics 365/Dataverse, AWS Cognito, and payment providers, and deliver scalable microservices in a regulated financial environment.

The role requires 5+ years in backend development, REST API design, cloud experience (AWS preferred), and collaboration with architects and product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Dataverse integrations.
• Experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management solutions.
• Experience integrating external payment providers.
• Understanding of KYC, onboarding or customer verification processes.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Engineering degree is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse.
• Develop and maintain integrations with payment providers and KYC solutions.
• Integrate authentication and identity services based on AWS Cognito.
• Design scalable APIs and microservices.
• Ensure security, reliability and compliance of business-critical systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture discussions.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share engineering best practices.
• Leverage AI tools to improve software delivery and engineering productivity.
