Job summary

DCG Poland is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to reinforce our growing client projects in the embedded banking domain. You will build scalable microservices, participate in a Scrum team, and work with state-of-the-art tooling to deliver reliable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Java software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Practical experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL and/or Db2.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to develop distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop new services and solutions within the embedded banking service domain (Payments Service Area).
• Build and maintain Java-based microservices.
• Contribute to distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications.
• Collaborate within a newly created Scrum team.
• Work closely with experienced team members to deliver backend solutions.
