5Blue Software is seeking a senior Software Engineer with architecture focus to own design of complex, scalable systems end-to-end. You will work in an AI-native environment, leverage AI coding agents, and lead technical decisions across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on Java development, system thinking, and driving innovation while mentoring peers. Remote-friendly with international collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software development with Java.
• Strong system architecture and design skills — proven experience designing scalable, distributed systems.
• Demonstrated ability to take complex requirements and turn them into well-structured designs.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architectures and large-scale data applications.
• Experience using AI coding tools as part of the SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design system and service architecture for high-performance, scalable software.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, robust, scalable designs.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex features from design to production.
• Leverage AI coding agents and spec-driven development to accelerate delivery.
