Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S), a member of the Munich Re and ERGO Group, seeks a Senior IT System Analyst to deliver IT solutions meeting business needs.

You will identify, analyze, document functional and non-functional requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and ensure requirement completeness across the software lifecycle. You will own complex analytical tasks, collaborate with business and IT stakeholders, and contribute to product and project delivery through

Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a System Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management.
• Experience working with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, and technical architects.
• Hands-on experience creating use cases, user stories, business features, and product backlog items.
• Experience in agile software delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
• Hands-on experience with acceptance testing, requirements validation, and QA activities.
• Experience supporting release management, deployment processes, and change management activities.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Miro, PowerPlatform, ServiceNow, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of process and system modeling techniques (UML, BPMN, or similar).
• Ability to assess and discuss technical feasibility of solutions with development teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing communication and balancing expectations between capability owners, end users, product teams, and service teams.
• Facilitating workshops to gather, analyze, and validate business and system requirements.
• Creating and maintaining use cases, process flows, and requirements documentation using established tools and standards.
• Translating business needs into business features, product backlog items, and functional specifications for delivery teams.
• Collaborating with developers, architects, and technical teams to assess solution feasibility and refine requirements.
• Co-creating wireframes and supporting solution design with UI teams.
• Performing acceptance testing and validating delivered functionality.
• Coordinating release activities, including release planning, notes, change management, and communications.
• Supporting pre-production and production deployments, performing release validation, and ensuring successful implementation of changes.
