Optiveum is seeking a Senior Linux Engineer for a global banking client in Warsaw. You will join an innovative tech team working with automation, cloud environments, and modern DevOps practices to improve the platform.
The role emphasizes design and automation, CI/CD, and self-healing capabilities, with hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and a B2B contract directly with Optiveum. Fluent English is required.

Designing and implementing automation processes using CI/CD technologies and procedures.
Exploring and integrating AI technologies for self-healing platform capabilities.
Creating comprehensive documentation for automation processes and procedures for end-users, engineers, and architects.
Collaborating effectively within the SAFE SCRUM framework.
Providing advanced troubleshooting and system administration support.
Driving innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+ environments (RHCSA certification is a strong plus).
Experience with GCE (Google Compute Engine) and migrations from VMware to GCE.
Hands-on experience with Red Hat Satellite (patch management and automation).
High proficiency in Bash scripting and dynamic programming languages (Python, Perl).
Extensive experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible.
Proficiency with software development tools including Git and Jira.
Experience working within SCRUM/Agile methodologies (SAFE SCRUM experience is highly preferred).
Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving capabilities, and an innovative mindset.
Fluent English (written and spoken) for technical documentation and team collaboration.
VMware virtualization technologies.
