Job summary

Relout, a Kraków-based consulting agency, seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to join the FA Modernization Team on a project for a financial-sector client. The role blends business and system analysis, translating needs into User Stories and Epics, and collaborating with developers to deliver a new automation product.

You will gather requirements, apply INVEST, model with UML, and analyze data using SQL, Jira, and Confluence within Agile Scrum/Kanban.

Qualifications

• Experience in gathering and refining business and system requirements.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into User Stories and Epics.
• Understanding and application of INVEST principles.
• Experience creating UML diagrams for business models.
• SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.
• Experience working in Scrum or Kanban delivery.
• Ability to work with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analysing and refining business and system requirements
• Translating business needs into User Stories and Epics
• Applying INVEST principles when defining and reviewing requirements
• Supporting the design of a new solution for automation of ServiceNow/ProTech change ticket creation
• Analysing requirements related to integrations with dependency management and DevSecOps processes
• Creating business models and diagrams using UML
• Using SQL to analyse, validate and verify data
• Maintaining and structuring project documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Working closely with business stakeholders, developers and other technical team members
• Supporting the team in clarifying scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria
• Participating in Agile delivery processes using Scrum and/or Kanban
• Independently driving analysis and resolving ambiguities in requirements
