Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a senior professional to lead real-time incident operations and reliability across global production systems. You will manage end-to-end incident response, from impact assessment to external communications, collaborating with Site Reliability Engineers and partner teams.

You will apply strong ownership, drive automation, and contribute to reliability tooling using Python or Kotlin. The role demands on-call presence and SLA-focused decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Incident Operations, SRE, Technical Operations, or similar role.
• Experience in on-call environments with SLA-driven responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, incident management tools, and observability platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to production incidents to minimize impact.
• Coordinate incident response across multiple teams and time zones.
• Assess incident impact and determine severity for rapid escalation.
• Manage external communications and status page updates.
• Support incident reporting, RCA activities, and SLA tracking.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve reliability and observability.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Contribute to reliability tooling via Python or Kotlin.
