Job summary

Jolly Technologies Inc. in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a distributed team of software developers and QA testers delivering cloud-based SaaS and mobile apps. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct people-management responsibility, not a pure project management position.

You will collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to translate priorities into architectural designs, manage sprints and the release cycle, and oversee Jira workflows across regions.

Qualifications

• Must have direct people-management responsibility including hiring and performance management.
• Hands-on software engineering leadership with prior engineering background.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage software developers (C# .Net / Azure / MAUI) and QA testers, including hiring and performance management.
• Build and lead distributed engineering teams across multiple countries for collaboration and accountability.
• Collaborate with the Senior Product Manager to translate priorities into designs, estimates, and development plans.
• Plan and run sprints, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Configure and manage Jira workflows, boards, projects, dashboards, and reporting.
• Own the end-to-end release cycle—scheduling, code freeze, QA sign-off, deployment, and post-release follow-up.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
