Job summary

Orbus Software is seeking a Development Manager to lead one or two remote software teams building OrbusInfinity, our flagship enterprise SaaS product. You will coach, align delivery and foster high-performing engineering practices.

This hands-off leadership role relies on Technical Leads for day-to-day decisions; you will focus on people, collaboration, roadmaps and continuous improvement across Product and Engineering. The role is remote with occasional in-person events in Poland.

Qualifications

Several years’ experience leading software development teams.
Experience coaching engineers and guiding delivery through the full software lifecycle.
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to work with distributed or international teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop one or two software development teams.
Set expectations and support growth of technical professionals.
Manage performance reviews and development plans for direct reports.
Lead hiring, onboarding and team capability development as required.
Ensure alignment on outcomes, dependencies and responsibilities across teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers and senior leadership to coordinate priorities.
