Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a senior Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect for a remote role in Poland. The incumbent will balance hands-on Java/Spring Boot development with architecture leadership on a telecom platform, mentoring three developers and collaborating with UK-based stakeholders.

The role spans domain-driven design, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native patterns, including OAuth2/OIDC security and AWS deployment.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of commercial Java development experience.
• 2+ years in a Tech Lead or Solution Architect role.
• Hands-on with Java and Spring Boot backend services.
• Strong React/TypeScript frontend guidance and review skills.
• Experience designing microservices and DDD-based architectures.
• Proficient in REST APIs, OpenAPI contracts, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC, and Spring Security.
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Excellent English communication with UK/international stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture for the customer portal and integration platform.
• Lead technical discovery and define MVP implementation strategy.
• Design scalable domain models, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Hands-on Java/Spring Boot coding for complex components.
• Mentor a three-person full-stack Java team and coordinate delivery.
• Establish coding standards, reviews, and quality gates.
• Shape React/TypeScript frontend architecture and review frontend code.
• Design enterprise integrations with reliable patterns like retries and idempotency.
• Drive security design with OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC and proper workflow orchestration.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA on AWS, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Document architectural decisions with ADRs and diagrams; demo progress.
