Job summary

Luxoft seeks a senior software engineer to develop and support an enterprise information system for the energy industry. The project provides a cloud solution for interpreting geological and geophysical data, built on SCRUM with close cooperation from the Customer team in Houston.

The team is senior, supportive and innovative, embracing Java, Eclipse RCP, cloud computing, GPU acceleration, and microservices while maintaining CI practices. mentorship included.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Runtime and ESRI authentication.
• Geophysical data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate domain requirements into robust software solutions.
• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance geoscience apps.
• Present architectural designs to the architecture review board.
• Break down tasks and lay out implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architecture.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and deliver each sprint.
