Job summary

Luxoft is building the ACQA analytics and risk platform, a cloud-native system where Python is central and Java/Scala drive scalable data processing. Join a diverse team of engineers across global pods, delivering tools for risk, pricing and PnL in investment banking.

You’ll work with cloud technologies, big data, and AI-assisted development while collaborating with traders and risk managers to create end-to-end solutions. A passion for quality and rapid learning is valued.

Qualifications

• Deep software engineering background across multiple paradigms and languages.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Experience in Java at scale with extensive testing.
• Big data experience with Spark or similar.
• Knowledge of financial derivatives, risk and pricing.
• Exposure to cloud-based systems (Azure) and a desire to learn more.
• Willingness to learn Python.
• DevOps and CI/CD mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop on the ACQA platform using Python, Java, and Scala.
• Collaborate with traders, risk managers and finance users to deliver tools.
• Apply robust design patterns and testing frameworks in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Contribute to production-grade, scalable data processing and analytics.
