Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior Java backend engineer for a Regulatory Reporting Platform used by a large US investment bank. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable services and data pipelines across jurisdictions, focusing on data quality and reliable delivery.

You will collaborate with global teams, optimize batch processing with Spark, work with SQL across large datasets, and translate regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial Java experience.
• Experience designing scalable high-performance backend applications.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets from multiple sources.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a global distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions for a large-scale Regulatory Reporting Platform.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Java and Apache Spark.
• Implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and consistency across the reporting lifecycle.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and cross-functional teams in an agile delivery model.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities.
