Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineer to build data platforms using GCP technologies and modern data warehousing with BigQuery. The role involves collaborating with a global team on international projects and delivering scalable data solutions.

You will work across data engineering challenges, applying SQL/Python, data modeling, and DevOps practices, with a mix of 2 days in office and 3 days remote within Poland.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Big Data on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python.
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling.
• Analytical problem-solving skills for big data environments.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Strong design techniques for relational and non-relational storage.
• Knowledge of Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh.
• Very good English (verbal and written).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), DevOps and CI/CD.
