Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineer to advance data platforms on the latest technology stack. You will design robust data solutions using GCP and BigQuery to enable clients and partners to make informed decisions.

Based in Poland with a hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote), you will collaborate with multi-country teams on international projects and apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to deliver scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in Big Data using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in SQL and/or Python.
• Background in data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed data processing, software engineering components and data modeling concepts.
• Analytical problem-solving skills for big data environments.
• Experience with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Strong experience with Data Marts, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Data Mesh concepts.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps/CI-CD principles.
