Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer / Tech Lead to own and shape the next generation of its web platform. You will design and deliver complete frontend, backend, and infrastructure, while guiding a team of engineers and driving architectural decisions.

You will work across global teams, implement microservices and event-driven patterns, and contribute to AI and automation initiatives, with a focus on high standards and scalable delivery in a modern cloud stack.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of commercial full stack development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python (Django, FastAPI) and React.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker - building and shipping containerized applications to production.
• Git and GitHub - branching strategies, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architecture.
• English min. B2 - used daily.

Responsibilities

• Owns the whole development process - idea, architecture, technology and UI decisions, implementation, and delivery.
• Builds complete applications - frontend, backend, and the infrastructure they run on.
• Holds the team to a high standard - reviews code, defines how things are done, and keeps improving.
• Works efficiently with GitHub - branching strategies, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to understand needs and turn requirements into concrete plans.
• Builds and ships the solution - architecture, containerization, deployment to production, and maintenance.
