Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a senior front-end engineer to act as the technical anchor for the front-end team, combining hands-on development with technical leadership. You will guide front-end architecture and technology decisions, and mentor the team to uphold high-quality engineering standards.

Provide senior hands-on front-end engineering support, lead UI decisions, and collaborate with client stakeholders while working with modern, component-based front-end development.

Qualifications

• Strong modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Solid front-end engineering background.
• Experience building web applications, not just static UI.
• Experience with modern component-based front-end development.
• Ability to make framework and architecture recommendations.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments.
• Strong English communication.
• Ability to work directly with senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior hands-on front-end engineering support.
• Lead UI/front-end implementation decisions.
• Recommend front-end frameworks, patterns and components.
• Work with ServiceNow / Veza stakeholders to evaluate tradeoffs.
• Build front-end components, UI patterns and web application functionality.
• Support UX implementation, application flows, and product-facing UI work.
• Collaborate directly with client engineering and product stakeholders.
• Operate independently with limited supervision.
• Help guide the second engineer when needed.
