Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join the Digital Technology & Operations team in Poland. You will design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and MS SQL Server, while delivering robust REST APIs and high-quality front-end components.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize databases, promote best practices, and contribute to Agile delivery across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven software development experience with strong .NET technologies.
• Deep expertise in .NET, C#, EF, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, REST, and TDD.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Microsoft SQL Server, including design/optimization.
• Knowledge of design patterns, scalable architectures, and maintainable software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and MS SQL Server.
• Build, test, debug, and optimize software for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design and implement REST APIs and front-end components for strong UX.
• Optimize SQL Server databases through efficient queries and indexing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers to translate business requirements into robust solutions.
• Provide senior technical guidance and promote engineering best practices within an Agile delivery lifecycle.
