Job summary
EPAM Systems in Poland seeks a Senior Full-stack Developer to build reliable Python/FastAPI APIs and React/TypeScript experiences. You will work with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, and Databricks, focusing on integrations and performance.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of production experience with Python, FastAPI and SQL.
- Proficient in API design and system integrations.
- Experience with high-load databases and query optimization.
- Front-end capability with TypeScript and React in a full-stack role.
- Experience using GenAI tools, ideally Claude Code.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain web applications with Python/FastAPI and SQL.
- Plan and design APIs and integrations for high-load databases.
- Optimize query performance across live systems.
- Contribute UI functionality using TypeScript and React.
- Use GenAI tools to improve workflows and throughput.
- Collaborate and work autonomously on tasks and communicate with stakeholders.
- Own product features and deliver beyond tickets.
- Handle ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment.
