Job summary

Partner Financial are recruiting a Senior FP&A Analyst on an initial 3-6 month contract for a major Polish renewables business in Warsaw. The Senior FP&A Analyst will assist the Head of FP&A whilst directly supporting the business as a whole.

The role requires a qualified accountant or equivalent FP&A experience with two or more FP&A roles, plus fluency in Polish and English. Experience in infrastructure, construction or renewables is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities across the Polish business.
• Drive annual budgeting process; provide insightful analysis to the Board.
• Deliver monthly management information for PL and UK stakeholders.
• Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts to identify drivers.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis and recommendations for executive decisions.
• Partner with operational leaders to align forecasts with metrics.
• Support strategic investment decisions and cost-to-complete analyses.

The business has several operational sites and others at various stages of construction. The business is backed by significant private equity investment and is positioned for future growth. The Senior FP&A Analyst will assist the Head of FP&A whilst directly supporting the business as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities across the Polish business.
• Help drive the annual budgeting process; provide insightful analysis to the Board.
• Deliver monthly management information, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time for both PL and UK stakeholders.
• Analyse variances between actual performance and forecast/budget targets, identifying underlying operational and market drivers.
• Deliver high-quality financial analysis and recommendations that support senior executive decision making on a wide range of business priorities and opportunities.
• Partner closely with operational leaders, project managers, and engineering teams to align production forecasts and cost expectations with financial metrics
• Support strategic decisions; understand ‘cost to complete’ and drive other investment cases.

The Candidate:

• A qualified accountant or equivalent FP&A experience (if not qualified).
• Direct FP&A experience in, ideally, at least two different roles.
• Experience in either infrastructure, construction or renewables would be an advantage.
• A strong communicator who can add value quickly and operate effectively immediately.
• Fluency in both Polish and English.
