Job summary

PLANCRAFT in Warsaw seeks a Senior Financial Accountant RTR to own the group accounting end to end and help scale a multi-entity European platform. You’ll lead the month-end close, own actuals, and drive automation and AI-enabled workflows across the finance function.

You’ll shape processes, controls, and in-house capability as PLANCRAFT expands across Europe, partnering with FP&A and FinOps for reliable reporting and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Strong experience owning month-end close end to end with reconciliations and VAT.
• Experience managing external accounting and tax providers.
• Multi-country accounting experience in scaling environments.
• Able to challenge stakeholders constructively and drive improvement.
• ERP ledger ownership beyond routine system use, with automation focus.
• Autonomy to own processes in a fast-moving scale-up.

Responsibilities

• Own group accounting end to end across multiple entities.
• Run the month-end close from planning to sign-off.
• Own the actuals and ensure accuracy and explainability.
• Transition accounting activities in-house and scale processes.
• Manage intercompany, reconciliations, eliminations, VAT and statutory needs.
• Own the group accounting ledger and close controls.
• Coordinate with FP&A and FinOps on actuals, subledgers, and coding rules.
• Build an accounting playbook and SOPs for consistency.
• Design automated recurring activities and clear exceptions.
• Prepare schedules for statutory audits.
