Job summary

Plancraft is seeking an AR Accountant to own end-to-end accounts receivable across Europe. You will manage invoicing, cash allocation, AR subledger reconciliations, and Stripe-related activities within Finance.

The role focuses on accurate, scalable processes and close collaboration with Customer Success and other finance teams. You will streamline AR workflows, automate recurring tasks with AI where appropriate, and help scale AR as Plancraft expands to new markets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable or similar role
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience with invoicing, cash allocation, dunning and month-end reconciliation
• Experience with Stripe and reconciling payment data
• Knowledge of VAT across European markets for receivables
• SaaS/digital business experience and shared-service exposure
• Comfort with ticket-based workflows in a remote environment and process automation interest
• Familiarity with external collections partners is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own AR end-to-end: invoicing, cash allocation, open items, AR subledger to GL at close
• Manage Stripe payouts, fees, failures, refunds, disputes, and reconciliations
• Maintain AR close schedules and aging; assist Sr. R2R Accountant
• Run collections across markets; manage dunning and write-offs
• Process credit notes and write-offs with documented evidence
• Apply VAT rules consistently across markets; resolve exceptions
• Operate AR as a reliable internal service via ticket queues
• Create and maintain SOPs and controls; enable automation/AI workflows
• Scale AR processes for international expansion across Europe
