Job summary

Vertiv Group in Warszawa is seeking a Field Service Engineer for maintenance and emergency repairs of Thermal Management products and other contracted systems. You will establish rapport with customers, sales managers, distributors and coordinate with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, performing work safely, maintaining maintenance completion targets, and ensuring compliance with company ITC and safety policies, while driving

Qualifications

• Technical school background, university degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• Good knowledge of HVAC products and principles.
• Social competence, ability to work in a team and motivate others, assertiveness
• 3-5 or more years of experience in position where technical competence is required
• Spoken and written English is a plus
• Computer literate, specifically the MS Office package
• Driver´s license category B

Responsibilities

• Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policy.
• Perform all work using good working practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned task.
• Assist in ensuring that the planned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%.
• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
• Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.
• Close tasks in Oracle Vertiv Mobile Field Service (VMFS) daily and weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
• Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.
• Support company vision and management decisions.
• Use email and other Office based programs to maintain/enhance communications processes.
• Ensure that all Vertiv processes are followed.
• Keep company vehicle clean and properly maintained.
• Protect all tooling and company property issued.
• Work as part of the service team and support business needs.
• Take an active role in the call out rota.
• Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program itself.
