Job summary

nVent is seeking a Cooling Engineer to join the on-site team in Poland. You will translate customer requirements into practical liquid cooling architectures, perform thermofluid analyses, and support site surveys and deployment planning to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

You will also assist with commissioning, field support, and develop tools and materials to enable accurate quoting while feeding field insights back into Product Management. Fluent English and Polish are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering field; Materials Science is a bonus.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in hydronic or cooling systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and selecting electrical components.
• Knowledge of heat exchangers, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Familiarity with DFMEA/DFM/RCCM and NPI stage-gate processes.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks); English and Polish fluency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and Field Application Engineers to translate customer requirements into practical cooling architectures.
• Perform thermofluid and hydraulic analyses including flow distribution, pressure drop, pump sizing, and heat rejection.
• Support site surveys, design reviews, and deployment planning to ensure constructability and reduced risk.
• Assist with commissioning and field support by validating operating conditions and resolving deviations.
• Develop sizing tools, performance calculators, templates, and technical materials for accurate quoting.
• Capture insights from customer engagements to influence product roadmap and development.
