Job summary

Vertiv Group is seeking a field service professional in Poland responsible for maintenance and emergency repairs of Thermal Management products and other contracted systems. You will build rapport with customers, sales managers and distributors, and maintain communication with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager.

You will respond to service calls, perform safe work following codes, and help maintain a 90% maintenance completion rate while updating the scheduling team and reporting

Qualifications

• Technical school background or university degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• Good knowledge of HVAC products and principles.
• Social competence, ability to work in a team and motivate others, assertiveness
• 3–5+ years of experience in a technical role
• Spoken and written English is a plus
• Computer literate, MS Office package; Driver's license B

Responsibilities

• Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls on duty.
• Perform all work safely and per company safety policy.
• Work with current codes of practice/legislation for tasks.
• Contribute to maintaining a 90% planned maintenance completion rate.
• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to your schedule and open jobs.
• Close tasks in VMFS and complete weekly paperwork accurately.
• Report sales or service leads via proper process.
• Support company vision and management decisions.
• Use email and Office to maintain communications processes.
• Follow Vertiv processes at all times.
• Keep company vehicle clean and maintained; protect tooling and property.
• Work as part of the service team and support business needs.
• Take an active role in the call out rota.
• Ensure ITC compliance activities are managed as per program requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for maintenance and emergency repairs of Vertiv’s Thermal Management products as well as other contracted systems. Required to establish, promote and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, sales managers, distributors and others within the field. Maintain ongoing communication with scheduling teams and the line/department Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls while on duty.


• Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policy.


• Perform all work using good working practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned task.


• Assist in ensuring that the planned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%.


• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to your schedule and the status of all open jobs.


• Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors with the site change form.


• Close tasks in Oracle Vertiv Mobile Field Service (VMFS) daily and weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner.


• Report sales or service leads to the proper department via the correct process.


• Support company vision and management decisions.


• Use email and other Office based programs to maintain/enhance communications processes.


• Ensure that all Vertiv processes are followed.


• Keep company vehicle clean and properly maintained.


• Protect all tooling and company property issued.


• Work as part of the service team and support business needs.


• Take an active role in the call out rota.


• Ensure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade Compliance Regulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification program itself.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical school background, university degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.


• Good knowledge of HVAC products and principles.


• Social competence, ability to work in a team and motivate others, assertiveness


• 3-5 or more years of experience in position where technical competence is required


• Spoken and written English is a plus


• Computer literate, specifically the MS Office package


• Driver´s license category B
