Job summary

Eleks in Kraków is seeking a senior UI/UX designer to shape scalable SaaS experiences. You will explore user needs, design systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver polished interfaces.

The role requires advanced Figma and Storybook skills, strong communication, and an ability to drive design decisions across multiple streams. Hybrid work with two days in the Kraków office is available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex SaaS products with deep hierarchy.
• Experience with design systems creation and maintenance.
• Strong English level (upper-intermediate) required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
• Translate insights into clear design recommendations.
• Contribute to discovery, workshops, ideation, and validation.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Use and contribute to design systems for consistency.
• Validate design solutions through usability testing and feedback.
• Consider accessibility and inclusive design principles.

• Facilitate workshops to explore problems and co-create solutions.

Job description

• Deep understanding of design thinking methodologies and human-centered design principles
• Advanced proficiency in Figma
• Familiarity with component codebases and frontend documentation tools, such as Storybook
• Experience in designing complex SaaS products with deep hierarchy
• Experience working with Design System (creation, maintenance)
• Design token-based thinking, component library stewardship
• Complex data table and form design layouts, visual hierarchy
• Ability to work across multiple parallel sub-project streams within the same product
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working with AI coding agents is a plus
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Availability to work from the Kraków office 2 days per week

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
• Translate research insights, analytics, and other relevant data into clear design recommendations
• Contribute to product discovery and design activities, including research, workshops, ideation, and validation
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs based on user needs and design best practices
• Use and contribute to design systems to create consistent and scalable user experiences
• Validate design solutions through usability testing, feedback, and other appropriate methods
• Consider accessibility and inclusive design principles throughout the design process
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align user needs with business and product goals
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to explore problems, generate ideas, and co-create solutions
• Apply human-centered design principles and keep user needs at the center of design decisions
