Job summary

ELEKS in Poland is seeking an accomplished Product Designer with 5–8 years of professional experience to design and deliver digital products in a fast-paced startup environment. You will drive discovery, research, ideation, prototyping and final delivery, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to turn complex problems into clear design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define problem statements, user archetypes, and product opportunities balancing user needs, business goals, strategy, and constraints.
• Lead user research, interviews, and discovery to uncover needs, pain points, behaviors, and opportunities; translate into design recommendations.
• Translate research into end-to-end design solutions including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Drive human-centered design decisions from discovery to delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to align user needs, business goals, and feasibility.
• Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions to frame problems and co-create solutions.
• Validate designs through usability testing, feedback, analytics, and data-driven iterations.
• Apply design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design practices across experiences.
• Contribute to continuously improving design processes and standards.

• 5–8 years of professional experience in Product Design, with demonstrated experience designing and delivering digital products and experiences
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating resourcefulness, adaptability, and a strong focus on execution and results
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex discussions, business requirements, and user needs into clearly defined problems and actionable design solutions
• Experience across the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research through ideation, prototyping, validation, and final delivery
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments, bringing structure and clarity to complex or undefined challenges
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to actively seek, receive, and incorporate feedback while adapting priorities and approaches as needed
• Leveraging industry standard software, like Figma or Claude, to explore solutions

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define clear problem statements, target user archetypes, and product opportunities by balancing user needs, business objectives, product strategy, and technical constraints
• Lead user research, interviews, and discovery activities to uncover user needs, pain points, behaviors, and opportunities, translating findings into actionable design recommendations
• Translate complex problems and research insights into end-to-end design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Drive human-centered design decisions throughout the product lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through validation and delivery
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to align user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
• Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and collaborative activities to frame problems, generate ideas, and co-create solutions with stakeholders
• Validate design solutions through usability testing, user feedback, analytics, and other relevant data, iterating designs based on evidence and measurable outcomes
• Apply and contribute to design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design practices to create consistent, scalable, and accessible experiences
• Contribute to and continuously improve design processes, practices, and standards, strengthening the organization’s end-to-end product design methodology
