Job summary

monday.com, Warsaw-based hub, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Resilience Group to drive platform availability and incident response speed. You will lead Team Leaders, shape technical strategy, and deepen observability across a microservices-based platform.

You’ll partner with a Group Tech Lead to translate goals into concrete scopes, improve detection rates, and develop leaders, while ensuring cross-team alignment and a culture of proactive reliability.

Qualifications

• Deep background in SRE or production engineering.
• Experience managing Team Leaders and Senior Technical Leaders.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and reliability.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable work.
• Excellent problem-solving in complex technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Own the mission and outcomes of the Resilience group - platform availability, incident response speed, and reducing production incidents.
• Identify bottlenecks across the platform and lead improvements in observability and detection rates.
• Define technical strategy with Group Tech Lead and translate into actionable scopes for teams.
• Manage and develop Team Leaders, ensuring cross-team alignment.
• Understand the platform architecture and usage patterns to identify next problems to solve.
• Own and improve incident response practices including tooling, escalation paths, and post-mortems.
