Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Senior Engineer, EMP Customer/Supplier Quality to ensure the quality and reliability of externally manufactured products, support supplier audits, and assist product development from design to serial production.

You will lead 8D problem-solving, coordinate with international teams, and drive continuous improvements to meet ISO/IATF standards and evolving customer requirements.

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Quality or a related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing, supplier or customer quality engineering, around 5 years, with knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 standards.
• Familiarity with structured problem-solving and quality methodologies, such as 8D, APQP, PPAP and Quality Core Tools.
• Experience with supplier or internal audits, new product development or quality improvement projects; knowledge of electronic or HVAC products is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality and reliability of finished products manufactured by external suppliers, driving compliance with Danfoss quality requirements and customer expectations.
• Lead customer and supplier complaint investigations using 8D to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Work with external manufacturing partners to improve product and process quality, conduct supplier audits and follow up on improvements.
• Support new product development and industrialization projects from design through PPAP approval and serial production launch.
• Collaborate with international teams to resolve technical quality challenges and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
