Job summary

Fluence Energy GmbH is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support the EMEA sales team by translating customer requirements into optimized energy storage solutions and compelling technical proposals.

Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will guide customers throughout the sales process, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful energy storage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of two years in power industry experience.
• Experience with offer management and/or technical contract review; Salesforce & CAD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EMEA Sales to translate customer requirements into optimized energy storage proposals.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and guide customers during the sales process.
• Support contract negotiations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and enhance sales tools and supporting materials.
• Lead evaluation of installation contractor proposals for turnkey delivery.
• Capture customer requirements to inform future product roadmaps.
• Ensure system designs meet local codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
