Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support the EMEA Sales team by translating customer requirements into optimized energy storage solutions and compelling technical proposals. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will guide customers throughout the sales process, support contract negotiations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful energy storage projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience within the power industry.
Experience with offer management and/or technical contract review.
Experience with CRM platforms and engineering tools such as Salesforce and CAD.

Responsibilities

Partner with the EMEA Sales teams to transform customer requirements into energy storage solution proposals.
Build deep expertise in energy storage technologies and provide configuration guidance to Sales teams.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of sales tools and support materials that drive business success.
Lead the evaluation and selection of installation contractor proposals, supporting seamless system integration and turnkey solution delivery.
Collaborate with Sales teams to negotiate technical aspects of customer contracts.
Travel throughout EMEA to engage directly with customers, partners, and stakeholders across the region.
