Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for EMEA to support outsourced payroll operations across Europe, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery through external providers. You will coordinate inputs, validate data, and work with vendors and internal stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years in payroll, strong controls, experience with ADP Global View, Workday, and time & attendance systems; English fluency, plus German or French; hybrid work in Lodz, Poland; base salary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of payroll experience, ideally supporting European payroll operations.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, tax processes, and statutory compliance.
• Experience working with outsourced payroll models and managing external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll activities through external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local requirements.
• Validate payroll inputs, including earnings, deductions, tax components, statutory contributions, and employee data changes.
• Review, update, and validate payroll data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Manage and coordinate monthly payroll runs, including one-time payments, corrections, adjustments, and other off-cycle transactions.
• Ensure equity-related transactions are processed accurately and within payroll deadlines.
• Perform payroll and tax reconciliations, maintain effective payroll controls, and support required reporting activities.
• Review and manage payroll corrections identified before and between payroll cycles.
• Monitor regulatory changes and coordinate timely implementation of required updates.
• Support year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting requirements.
