Job summary

MCC is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager EMEA to shape and lead logistics strategy across Europe and Africa. You will optimise transportation, carrier management, and logistics technology to deliver cost-efficient, reliable service across a 30-location network.

You will collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, planning, and global teams to drive cost savings, visibility, and continuous operational improvements while leading regional and global transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related discipline.
• Significant logistics and supply chain management experience, including leadership within a complex organisation.
• Proven experience managing multi-country transportation and logistics operations across Europe.
• Strong understanding of European transportation networks, customs procedures, VAT, and cross-border logistics.
• Experience with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or equivalents.
• Demonstrated success managing carriers, logistics providers, and transportation procurement.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions, locations, and cultures.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation and logistics operations across the EMEA region, ensuring service, cost, compliance, and performance objectives are achieved.
• Develop and implement consistent transportation processes and standards across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Lead carrier sourcing activities, contract negotiations, performance reviews, and logistics optimisation initiatives.
• Drive transportation cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement programmes.
• Support the implementation and optimisation of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics technology solutions.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and operational performance.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Mitigate transportation risks through effective planning, contingency management, and supplier engagement.
• Represent the EMEA region within the global logistics leadership structure and contribute to international transformation projects.
