Job summary

Google LLC in Warsaw, Poland is seeking software engineers to join the Core Bring Up and Platforms teams, focusing on low-level software for Pixel hardware. You will drive end-to-end software readiness across pre- and post-silicon milestones and collaborate with SoC, firmware, and kernel teams.

Responsibilities include boot-to-home production readiness, emulation collaboration, and lab bring-up of silicon components with hardware documentation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Act as the primary software lead for Pixel Software for new silicon programs, driving end-to-end software readiness, execution, and risk mitigation across pre- and post-silicon milestones.
• Drive software readiness to achieve production-stack Boot-to-Home on early silicon.
• Partner with Emulation/Simulation teams to define software requirements and deliver stable platforms for early development.
• Lead wafer and Silicon on Desk bring-up in the lab, delivering CDT, partition tables, hardware documentation, and tooling support.
