Job summary

Google LLC in Warsaw, Poland is seeking a Software Engineer III for the Pixel Performance team. You will review design and performance architecture for future system-on-chip workloads and work on Pixel releases focused on bring-up, performance, and power efficiency.

The role requires in-person interviews in most cases as part of the hiring process. The Pixel Device Performance SW team handles OS performance management, profiling, and resource optimization to ensure smooth operation across Pixel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with embedded operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Review design and performance management architecture for future SoC.
• Work on latest Pixel releases focusing on SoC bring-up and performance/power efficiency.
• Develop new algorithms for Android workload efficiency (DVFS, governors, runtimes).
• Analyze utilization of CPU, GPU, and Fabrics in SoC.
• Profile and analyze critical user journeys to improve performance and power efficiency for Pixel devices.
