Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. is seeking a Principal Embedded C/C++ Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software for embedded platforms with constrained resources. You will work across microcontrollers, embedded Linux, and RTOS-based systems.

The role requires deep low-level programming, real-time constraints, and strong debugging skills, with collaboration alongside hardware engineers to meet strict performance and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Experience with OpenWRT and embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
• Strong low-level programming, debugging, and hardware interfacing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain embedded software for constrained hardware.
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Debug with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD tooling.
• Write robust, maintainable, and testable code following standards.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on schematics and interfaces.
