Principal Embedded C/C++ Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software that runs on embedded systems with constrained resources such as microcontrollers, real‑time processors, and custom hardware platforms. The role combines strong C/C++ expertise with deep understanding of hardware, real‑time constraints, low‑level debugging, and system integration.
Design, implement, and maintain embedded software using modern C/C++
Develop firmware for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, or RTOS‑based platforms.
Perform debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD tools, and software debuggers
Write robust, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
Integrate with real‑time operating systems or bare‑metal environments.
Work closely with hardware engineers to understand schematics, interfaces, and constraints.
Solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, memory models, and low‑level programming concepts
demonstrated through at least 10 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
Experience with openWRT
Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
Strong debugging skills across hardware and software layers.
Knowledge of build systems and toolchains
Ownership mentality and focus on quality and reliability.
Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash)
