Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Poland is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team, supporting the design of electrical power systems from MV/LV distribution to end-use loads. The role combines high-precision engineering, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with suppliers, in a hybrid work setting.

You will apply ETAP and other tools to deliver safe, reliable power solutions for complex industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
• Master's degree may be preferred for senior roles.
• Experience in heavy/high-reliability industries such as nuclear, power generation, or oil & gas.
• US/Canada licensure or international equivalent accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of safety-related and non-safety electrical systems, MV/LV distribution across the plant.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protective relay coordination studies with ETAP per ANSI/IEC.
• Prepare deliverables: requirements, load lists, one-line diagrams, calculations, schematics, and diagrams.
• Develop procurement specs for major electrical components and collaborate with suppliers.
• Support regulatory compliance with CNSC/NRC and codes (IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC, EU).
