Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our team, supporting design of electrical power systems from MV/LV distribution to plant end-use loads. This highly technical role requires deep knowledge of safety and non-safety systems and regulatory standards.

You will work in a hybrid model in Poland, collaborating with suppliers and using ETAP and other tools, with a focus on compliance with IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC, CNSC, and NRC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Professional licence (US PE or Canadian PEng) or international equivalent.
• Experience in heavy/high-reliability industries (nuclear, power, marine, oil & gas, military).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of safety-related and non-safety electrical systems across MV/LV distribution.
• Perform electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting) and protection coordination.
• Prepare electrical specifications, diagrams, calculations and deliverables on-schedule.
• Develop procurement specs for major components and engage suppliers during procurement.
• Support regulatory licensing activities per CNSC/NRC and applicable codes.
