Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Poland is seeking a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join the team responsible for the design of electrical power systems from main generator connections to in-plant distribution and end-use loads.

Your role includes leading safety-related and non-safety electrical system design, performing advanced electrical studies with ETAP, and producing key deliverables while ensuring on-spec, on-budget, and on-schedule results; with strong regulatory compliance focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Professional engineering licence (US PE, Canadian PEng, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with electrical analysis tools (ETAP) and digital engineering platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of safety-related (SC1/Class 1E) electrical systems and MV/LV distribution.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, motor starting analyses and protective relay coordination using ETAP.
• Prepare electrical deliverables: load lists, diagrams, calculations, schematics.
• Develop procurement specs for transformers, switchgear, diesel generators, UPS systems; engage suppliers.
• Support regulatory compliance per CNSC/NRC and applicable codes.
