Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Poland seeks a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to design electrical power systems, from main generator and grid connection through to in-plant distribution and end-use loads.

You will lead MV/LV distribution design, perform ETAP studies, prepare specifications, and ensure compliance with CNSC/NRC and IEEE/IEC/CSA/NEC standards while collaborating with suppliers in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; master's preferred.
• US PE/Canadian PEng or internationally recognized equivalent licensure.
• Experience with ETAP and electrical analysis tools.
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, CSA, NEC standards and grid interconnection.
• Experience in high-reliability industries (nuclear, power, process, marine, oil & gas, military).

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and integration of safety-related and non-safety electrical systems, including MV/LV distribution.
• Performing complex electrical studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, relay coordination) using ETAP.
• Preparing Deliverables: Requirements, Load Lists, One-Line Diagrams, calculations, schematics.
• Developing procurement specifications for major electrical components and coordinating with suppliers.
• Supporting regulatory compliance with CNSC/NRC and applicable IEEE/IEC/CSA/NEC codes.
